The black in this image is printed using a copper plate etching as the key block then block printed in a transparent colours using a jigsaw cardboard block process. The image is 4.2cms wide x 8cms high, handprinted on acid free Canson  paper in a limited edition of 4.
 
This image is based on a view from the top of one of the tailing 'hills' at the old Moonta Mines  which is located at the tp of Yorke Peninsular in South Australia. During the late 1800's  some of my past relatives came from Cornwall in England to work in the mines, two of which worked in this pump house looking after the pump which removed water from the mine.
